Main Dealer or Specialist for Repair WorkThis is a featured page

If you new car requires a service or repair work please read this article, it contains help and advise to avoid unnessary expense.

First service,
Before you book your car into your main dealer first check what service is required, check your vehicle mileage and compare to the vehicles service book, all servicing schedules go on mileage or vehicle age, somtimes these schedules can be a little difficult to understand but its worth spending time to understand them. When you know what service is due and when, you can contact your main dealer and get a fixed price for the work you require. Too many times people book cars in and do not Know what price they are going to pay. Phone other dealers in your area and compare quotes. This can save in some instances £500 depending on vehicle and service required.

Repair work,
The same applys if you have problems with your vehicle and its out of warranty, aways make sure you get a fixed quote.

Main dealer or specialist,
This is the real saving, Due to new goverment legislation the main dealer can no longer insist you take your car back to them to be repaired or serviced to maintain the warranty, leaving you the chance to get lower quotes for the work you require, make sure the garages you use are registered and qualified to carry out the repairs.
